Why we built Ganimani

"Is it OK to go there right now?" Ganimani was made to answer that in 3 seconds.

Our two goals

🛡️ To help prevent crowd accidents — When too many people pack into a narrow space, accidents can happen without warning. Knowing how crowded a place is before you go, when it will quiet down, and which nearby spots are less crowded helps you avoid dangerous crowding.

🌏 To help visitors to Korea — Even without speaking Korean, you can search popular places and check how crowded (and how popular) they are right now, and why, in English, Chinese or Japanese.

🍽️ Top restaurants & popular cafés

Search any place and we will rank the restaurants and cafés nearby that people actually visit and review the most.

🚨 Staying safe in crowds

📞 Emergency numbers in Korea

Ganimani's crowd levels are estimates based on open data. On site, always follow police, local government and staff instructions and emergency alerts first.

🌡️ Crowd levels

Crowd levels are shown from 0 to 100°. Where real-time measurements exist we use them; elsewhere we build a "crowd forecast" from day-and-hour patterns plus tourism, traffic, weather, search-trend and event data. Tap "See the data" on any result to check every source used.

📋 Data we use

🙋 Who runs it

Ganimani is a free service run by an independent developer, launched in September 2026. No sign-up, and we never collect your location. Ads may be shown to keep it free, but restaurant rankings have nothing to do with ads.
